Projektron BCS 19.4
Version 19.4 of the Projektron BCS project management software offers the option of conducting surveys and evaluating their results directly within the software. Additionally, the new Graphical Work Breakdown Structure offers a fresh design and a better overview. Project planning has also been extended: the new material cost budget now takes intervals into account!
Organizational Chart and Graphical Work Breakdown Structure
Displaying structures uniformly
For Projektron BCS 19.4, the Graphical Work Breakdown Structure was adapted to a modern design. Thanks to a new color palette, diagrams are now easier to read. Intelligibility has also been improved: Groups of people and their members now appear as separate nodes. Especially complex diagrams benefit from free navigation thanks to zooming. You can also configure the display of elements and length of headings individually. Furthermore, the Organisational Chart can also be used in reports and can be exported as PNG or SVG! The Organisational Chart for projects has also been renewed.
This function is not included in BCS.start as an option.
Improved BPMN Process Designer
Managing processes effortlessly
With version 19.4, the BPMN Editor is even easier to use. User elements were simplified and the design was adjusted. Functionality has also been extended: with BCS 19.4, the BPMN view is also available for Annotations.
This function is not included in BCS.start as an option.
New Survey Module
Survey and evaluate directly in BCS
Projektron BCS 19.4 introduces the survey module. Surveys can now be created in just a few clicks, using a handy wizard. A new view allows these to be tracked together with your current surveys. The wizard allows for various options such as inserting introductory and final sentences, limiting the time period of the survey and choosing between radio buttons or selection menus.
Finally, the evaluation view provides an overview where answers are grouped by questions while also allowing each question to be selected individually and viewed with its associated answers. Initially intended as a tool for internal assessment, sales staff could make use of the survey module by obtaining customer feedback based on current surveys.
This function is not included in BCS.start as an option.
Extended features for material costs
Displaying material costs in intervals
The Projektron BCS material costs module has received extensive additions. In projects with long runtimes, you can now plan material costs even more precisely by outlining material costs in intervals such as monthly or quarterly. You can distribute material costs to respective periods manually, with a regular value or based on an automatically generated even distribution. This allows you to keep an eye on the distribution of material costs even in large projects: The column total sums the values for a defined evaluation period. Additionally, the values for each interval are also totaled.
Actual material costs can now also be entered as commitments. This allows you to enter known costs for which no invoice has been issued and include them in evaluations.
This function is not included in BCS.start.
