With the release of Projektron BCS 24.2, we are presenting innovations that make your work easier and increase security.The implementation of Passkeys enables password-free authentication, which not only increases security through strong encryption and phishing protection, but also optimizes user-friendliness. In addition, the personal Kanban board and the new to-do lists offer a more efficient way to organize your tasks. Update to BCS 24.2 now to benefit from these functional improvements!

Implementation of passkeys in BCS

With BCS 24.2, all users can use the password-free authentication method with passkeys, as already used by companies such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon and PayPal. Passkeys provide secure login through strong encryption, phishing protection and prevent stolen credentials from being misused. In addition, logging in without a username or password makes it easier to use.

The introduction of Passkeys not only increases security, but also improves user-friendliness by avoiding typical password problems such as weak or forgotten passwords. For administrators, this means less work in password management. Passkeys can be managed directly in the user account and deleted if necessary. Read our blog article to learn more about Passkeys.

Simply better organized: personal Kanban board for organizing your work

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by all the tasks you have to deal with? The personal Kanban board in Projektron BCS 24.2 enables each user to organize their tasks more clearly and efficiently. With user-defined swim lanes and statuses, you can add tickets, reminders, or appointments as board elements and arrange them using drag and drop.

Each element can be given a deadline, a title and a description, which makes planning and tracking your tasks considerably easier. You can also easily map recurring tasks by adding a repeat rule. Benefit from this new functionality and increase your efficiency and organization with the personal Kanban board in Projektron BCS 24.2!

To-do lists in description fields of tickets or Kanban cards

Projectron BCS 24.2 implements a lightweight to-do list that is available in the description fields of various BCS elements. This functionality is based on the CKEditor, which makes it possible to create simple and user-friendly to-do lists directly in the text editor in order to process BCS elements in an even more structured way.

This function is alsoincluded in BCS.start.

The new to-do list in Projektron BCS 24.2 facilitates the creation and structured processing of tasks.

  • Cumulative expenses from ticket-based tasks can be automatically transferred to offers
  • Project portfolio management: Projects in portfolio overview can be filtered by various attributes
  • Jira synchronization: E-mail address of the BCS user can be used instead of the user ID for user mapping
