Profile
The Esslingen University of Applied Sciences (Göppingen campus) consists of the Mechatronics & Electrotechnology and Industrial Engineering faculties with some 1000 students. In particular, they appreciate the university's practical orientation. The organisation of project works is a main component of the curriculum in all faculties. Starting in the 2008/2009 winter semester, students in the Information Systems degree programme have had the possibility of using Projektron BCS to manage their various projects and bachelor's theses.

Industrial Application Systems Laboratory | Faculty of Business and Technology | Esslingen University of Applied Sciences
Projektron BCS has been used in our teaching since 2008 - initially in the ‘Interdisciplinary Project’ module of the International Industrial Engineering and Management (IWB) and Business Informatics (WFB) Bachelor's degree programmes. Since the introduction of the Industrial Engineering and Management degree programme (WNB) in 2013, Projektron has also been used there. We are still enthusiastic users. As the Faculty of Business and Technology now also includes the Faculty of Business Administration from Esslingen and the Faculty of Mechatronics from Göppingen, the use of BCS is likely to expand.
