In Projektron we have found a partner whose product, Projektron BCS, forms the central component of our new application landscape. Important criteria in the decision in favour of BCS were: simple configurability of the tool via configuration files (XML, properties); very good support with short response times; use of technologies already used in-house (BIRT reports); consistent orientation of the tool towards Java application servers. By using Projektron BCS, we have succeeded in integrating the processes in the areas of portfolio and project planning, controlling and invoicing, eliminating redundant data storage and speeding up our workflows. Thanks to the browser technology, everyone involved in the processes receives up-to-date information, regardless of their location.
