ITSG stands for Informationstechnische Servicestelle der Gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung, meaning Information Technology Service Centre of the Statutory Health Insurance. ITSG has set itself the goal of digitalisation in the health system. Since its foundation in 1996, ITSG has been developing and operating innovative software and Big Data applications on behalf of health insurance companies, associations and service providers in the healthcare sector. Today, more than 190 employees work at the headquarters in Heusenstamm and the branch office in Berlin.
