Always one step ahead with BCS
Success story from Axel Springer SE
Projektron BCS has significantly simplified our time recording process. Seamlessly integrated with Axel Springer's IT, the system allows users to easily enter data and create customisable reports. The user-orientated interface of BCS makes tasks such as time recording and reporting simple.

Software support for time recording & resource management at ASIT
In 2016, we decided to use Projektron BCS for time recording at Axel Springer IT (ASIT). One objective was to automatically update the master data and efficiently generate the data export and reports from the system.
Every user should be able to enter their time recording easily and according to their needs. It was important to us that users could independently view reports in the system according to their responsibilities.
At the same time, we wanted a better overview of IT resources and the associated potential capacities for projects. It was also important to us that the system works on computers with both Mac and Windows operating systems. Projektron BCS can be used with all current browsers.
Our users find Projektron BCS much easier to use than our previous tool. For example, logging in to BCS is simple using single sign-on.
Timekeepers can conveniently record their hours in BCS using various views. The views can be customised by our users to suit their individual needs.
Project managers, executives and employees can access different reports depending on their role.
With BCS, the master data can be automatically imported from SAP on a daily basis. The export of the booking data for the monthly closing and the allocation of our IT hours to the individual cost units of the Group is carried out by an export from Projektron BCS customised to our requirements.
Conclusion: Very satisfied with product and support
In recent years, Projektron BCS has been continuously developed and its range of functions has been expanded. Even though we are far from utilising all of the numerous possibilities, we are still very satisfied with the use and development.
We would also like to mention the excellent support provided by Projektron GmbH, the willingness to give customer-specific adaptations the necessary space and not only to take on board suggestions, but to actually integrate them into the system where appropriate.
