For us, Projektron BCS is an easy-to-use and very effective project controlling system, which makes controlling activities a 'minor matter'. This means saved time, in which we are now available to our customers. The web-based data exchange makes our Europe-wide activities much easier.

In Berlin, Cologne and Dresden, we offer our clients a comprehensive range of services from strategy development to the design, financing and management of programs and projects. We draw on experience from more than 5,000 projects and have complex know-how in project funding by the European Commission and by federal German funding programs.
For the state of Berlin, for example, B.&S.U. mbH manages the Environmental Relief Program (UEP), under which, among other things, schools and day-care centers are renovated to above-average energy efficiency with highly thermally insulated windows and facades.
B.&S.U. mbH has also developed offers for companies, for example the "Energy Trophy", a Europe-wide energy-saving competition in office buildings. The implementation of the competition is financially supported by the European Union through the "Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE)" program. With the European Energy Award®, B.&S.U. mbH, together with partners from Switzerland and Austria, has developed a certification procedure for municipal energy policy, which is used by almost 100 cities and municipalities in Germany.
The aim of the European certification and quality management system European Energy Award® is to systematically record and evaluate the energy-relevant work carried out in the municipalities to date, to plan further activities and to establish a continuous controlling process for energy efficiency in the city, as well as to make use of the know-how and experience of other program municipalities.
Another business field of B.&S.U. mbH is the management of "Twinning" projects, in which experts are sent to the new member states of the European Union and the EU accession candidates to build up the standards of the community. The experts assigned to the partner countries support the new member states in introducing new laws, procedures and structures.
All employees of B.&S.U. mbH work with different tasks and time budgets in parallel in different projects. Projektron BCS helps us with project planning, effort recording and controlling. This enables the project manager and management to keep track of the progress and success of the projects. Particularly in the case of projects that are co-financed by the European Union or federal German institutions, it is necessary to prove not only the success of the projects in terms of content, but also the efficient and contractual use of the funds employed. Projektron BCS helps us to create correct and transparent evidence, for example, with regard to personnel deployment.

B.&S.U. mbH has been working with Projektron BCS since 2003. An essential criterion for the decision to use Projektron BCS was the program's performance, which clearly stood out from other products. We have not regretted our decision: our employees are supported in the implementation of demanding tasks, and familiarization was quick and easy without distracting from important tasks.
Since our employees often work directly at our project partners abroad or in other cities, the fact that Projektron BCS is a web-based system was also of particular importance. This means that bookings can be made from any computer in the world - it only needs to be connected to the Internet.
And the personal contact is also right: As a service company, we also expect good and cooperative collaboration from our partners. This is the case with Projektron. The company responds very quickly to our requests and suggestions and implements them quickly and competently. Because we feel we are in good hands with Projektron, we also often have Projektron employees carry out the installation and adjustments.
This is a simple TCO calculation for us. Another positive aspect for our company is the ongoing further development of the product, which has so far led to constant improvements both at the user level and in the area of maintenance. Although we only use a selected part of the entire scope of the Projektron BCS software, it is a real benefit for us.
