In all four areas, Projektron supports us in delivering the required top performance. Whether in the office, at customer sites or in the home office - we have access to project, employee and customer data at all times! From acquisition to invoicing with Projektron BCS, we maintain an overview at all times!
Simple and intuitive to use
Projektron BCS initially came to our attention because we needed to record the working hours of our employees and assign them to our customers' projects. We got to know the software at a trade fair. We liked it above all because Projektron BCS is web-based: work on our projects takes place both on our premises and at the customer's or home office: Projektron BCS can be accessed from anywhere an Internet connection is available. We can therefore immediately book hours worked on the projects.
We were also impressed by the additional possibilities that Projektron BCS offered us. That's why today we also plan and calculate our projects with BCS and our employees use the tool to plan their vacation. The program does require a certain amount of training, but once you've got to grips with areas, it's very easy and intuitive to use. The fact that modules that we don't use can simply be hidden contributes to the overview.
Arguments for billing the customer
Although regular resource management is not worthwhile for us, when projects are completed we use Projektron BCS data to compare the calculated effort with the actual effort - so we can see that we are calculating correctly. And if there are any discrepancies: Because Projektron BCS helps us to list the hours worked very precisely, the software provides us with arguments when it comes to demanding a supplement from a customer (incidentally, we also issue lower invoices if, contrary to expectations, we complete a project in fewer hours than calculated).
The next logical step for us is to also do all our invoicing with Projektron BCS. I would like to take a closer look at this area of the software as soon as I have some time.
