Since 2013, we have been using Projektron BCS intensively to continuously maintain and update our leads and projects both at our Munich location and in Charlotte (USA). We use the software to process leads and projects from the initial approach to completion with our customers.

Kemény Boehme Consultants SE is an international management consultancy based in Munich and Charlotte, North Carolina (USA), which is fully owned by its partners. Since 2007, we at KBC have been developing customized solutions: from strategy to operational management – for internationally operating corporations and leading medium-sized companies, particularly in the technology and automotive industries. We have grown steadily since our foundation and maintain trusting and long-term business relationships with our customers.
Since 2024, we have had an additional location in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the United States. There, too, the BCS is used in the same way as at the Munich location in order to be fully transparent in the overall context of KBC. At KBC, we are a team of lead managers and project managers dedicated to managing and controlling our projects. Our job is to ensure the success of our projects through transparent processes and efficient project planning. Projektron BCS helps us to do this.
To do our work properly, the use of project management software is essential. Only in this way can we ensure transparency in project controlling and efficiently design our related processes, such as acquisition management and staffing for projects. The need for this arose from our desire to continuously maintain and update our projects in order to always keep track of figures, data and facts.
Project controlling was convincing
Our first contact with BCS was in 2012 and was very promising. The possibility of finding and using key figures and methods of project controlling as a KBC standard in BCS Projektron convinced us. The software introduction went smoothly, and we started implementing basic functions in 2012, such as project planning including resource deployment.
BCS in use from initiation to completion
Since 2013, we have been using BCS intensively to continuously maintain and update our leads and projects both at our Munich location and in Charlotte (USA).
We use the software to process leads and projects from initiation to completion with our customers. Lead and project planning is a central part of our daily work with BCS.
The project manager is responsible for regularly reviewing and updating the projects. We plan material costs and external services in BCS.
Multi-currency capability for international use
We create invoices (in dollars or euros) based on payment milestones in projects. All employees record their hours and expenses on projects, so we always know how profitable our projects are. We have activated multi-currency capability in BCS for implementing projects in the USA. Since then, we have been able to calculate our costs and revenues in dollars and euros.
Invoicing was particularly important when implementing multicurrency capability. We can use both a German and an English version of the language for both currencies, which allows us to react flexibly to our customers.

Our colleagues in Charlotte can also record their expenses and costs in dollars, avoiding the hassle of manual conversion.
Transparency and efficiency for the future
We are very satisfied with BCS and plan to continue using the software in the future. By consistently applying BCS and regularly replanning projects, we are improving the transparency and efficiency of our entire project work. This enables us to react to changes at an early stage and to successfully complete the projects. We are convinced that BCS is a valuable tool for our project controlling and helps us to achieve our goals.
