Information becomes communication - in many companies you can already see that a cultural change is starting here. One of Lingner's main business areas is to provide our customers with assistance in these areas. This could be, for example, dialog platforms for internal communication within companies. Lingner Consulting New Media makes Web 2.0 suitable for companies. Projektron BCS helps the company to stay one step ahead of the others.
Future communication
Can wikis (online encyclopedias in which everyone can make their know-how available) ensure that specialist information reaches everyone more quickly? Or would it make sense to make information available to the sales department in the form of podcasts, so that field sales staff can use their routes to customers to familiarize themselves with new products?
Many of our customers come from classic sectors such as the construction industry, mechanical engineering or plant construction: Bilfinger Berger AG, Mahle GmbH or Hans Huber AG (sets global standards in wastewater treatment and process technology) - we have been advising some of our customers on the Internet and new media since the mid-1990s.
That's why we appreciate the advantages of long-standing relationships. Not least that of Lingner with Projektron BCS. We have been using the project management software since the beginning of 2004.
Why Projektron BCS?
The decisive factor at that time was the excellent integration between project management, finances, resource planning and control options, which we had not seen anywhere before in this depth. In addition, as a new media company, we liked working with a partner under construction - communication is unbureaucratic and the other side can quickly incorporate the wishes and suggestions of its customers. Thus, the Projektron BCS project board also goes back to our initiative.
Transparency towards the customer
We also liked the fact that the software is web-based right from the start. This makes it possible to work with the system from anywhere, and we can also set up access for our customers so that they have an overview of how their project is doing at all times. This and the clean documentation are already a big advantage in the tendering phase - it simply makes us look and work more professionally.
In the meantime, we do time and resource planning with Projektron BCS, as well as cost calculations and the booking of labor hours on the individual projects. With this, we probably still only use half of what the software offers us. We can no longer imagine our daily work without Projektron BCS.
